‘Birth’ Announcement!

importanceofbeingemmardpngJuliet Archer is delighted to announce the birth of her first book, The Importance of Being Emma, a modern retelling of the Jane Austen classic.

‘Baby Emma’ was born on 15th December 2008, nearly three years after conception - enough to make even an elephant weep!

Despite all the difficulties - writer’s cramp, sagging middle, chocoholism, split infinitives, to name but a few - Juliet has battled bravely on, sustained by North and South’s John       Thornton (aka Richard Armitage) holding her hand throughout (in her dreams!), by the support of her family, and by encouraging feedback from readers of the early version.

The new arrival is available as a bouncing paperback, weighing in at almost half a kilo and 416 pages long, or as an ebook with a choice of format - PDF, Mobipocket or Microsoft Reader. Visit the Choc Lit website for all the details.
